NEW CAMERA + Social Security + Guitar Strings + Mia&Michi

Today was a busy but interesting day. I ordered a camera on Amazon and I got it today in a mail! Lumix FH20! It's used but it looked like brand new. I am thankful for it.

After finishing my GNED test today at 1.30pm, and after getting the documents needed for my application for a Social Security Number (SSN), I went to the social security office in Timberlake. Thanks to Miho, I did not need to take several bus trips and walk there myself! While I was there several problems came up with it and there will be a delay for my SSN, but other than that it should be fine.

After that I went to Lynchburg music center to buy some guitar strings.
(bought in a bulk of 10 sets of acoustic guitar strings-EXPENSIVE!)

After that Miho brought me along to buy some stuff for the precious little girls (Mia and Michi). Below is a short video of mia and michi:

P/S: Please pray for my instructor, Paul Randlatt and his family, his dad went home to heaven last week and the family definitely appreciate your prayer and support!

First Church Service + Five Guys

Date of Event: 15th of August 2010

On the first Sunday I spent in America, I went to church with the Camarata's and the Malaysians. This is one of the last place we went before actually moving into the dorms.

West Lynchburg Baptist Church service:

Another wonderful place to be in with a bunch of wonderful people. The average age of people is a little high too.

After the church service we went back home to get all our luggages and moved into the dorm. It was a pleasant experience.

(Moving from the house to the dorm)

After moving in, we went for lunch at Five Guy. One of the famous burger restaurants in America. Huge portion, decent taste.
(Photo consist of a few more church member from WLBC and Micah. The rest of the Malaysians are there too.)

More stories to come! =)

The Starting Point at Camarata's

Hi, my name is Bryan (Wai Yong Tang). This blog is about my experiences in Liberty University. I am a freshman (Fall 2010), and I am pursuing my Bsc in Worship and Music Studies.

I left Malaysia on the 10th of August 2010 and arrived in America for the first time on the 11th of August 2010. I first stayed with the Camarata's before leaving for LU. Micah Camarata is Uncle Rodney's newphew and the family is full of really nice and wonderful people.

Micah & Miho Camarata have two kids called Mia and Michi. On the left is a photo that I had with Mia and Michi.

It was a great place to start off my journey in America because through that I met a whole bunch of Malaysians friends.

Much more story to tell, but that's it for now! =)
